Snap On Torque Wrench
There
have been instances wherein people have had a heated debate on whether a normal
wrench is better than a snap on torque wrench. Well, the discussions have been
more or less in the favor of a snap on torque wrench for the basic reason that
the wrench with a snap on mechanism is apt for your delicate tools.
For example, if you need to change the tire of your car and have a high impact wrench in the boot. Well, what do you in such a situation? Ideally, you would use too much of force and tighten the bolts to such an extent that they would either wear fast or snap altogether. High impact wrenches are good but they seldom do a good job.
On
the contrary, a snap on torque wrench would work wonders with your torque and
manage to get the job done without damaging your machinery. There are certain
wrenches which have a dial meter attached. The dial meter indicated the amount
of force which is being applied to the torque. Such snap on wrenches are ideal
for professional mechanics who work to repair heavy machinery, for over here,
accurate information is required to get the job done.
Some wrenches are attached with a buzzer which indicated whether the applied torque has been achieved or not. Once the buzzer has sounded, it is time to move over to the next nut. Certain snap on torque wrenches make a clicking sound which is an indication to stop.
